South Sumatra Chinese Social Association Blood Donation Event

SSA Supports PSMTI South Sumatra Blood Donation Event

As a form of social care and spirit of togetherness, the Indonesian Chinese Clan Social Association (PSMTI) South Sumatra together with various associations across South Sumatra successfully held a blood donation event on Sunday, August 24, 2025. This event took place at Yap Ballroom, Jalan Kapten Marzuki No.2323, Kel.20 Ilir, Palembang, starting from 08.00 – 12.00 WIB, with the number of participants reaching 1,300 people.

This blood donation event was not only a means to provide a real contribution to the community but also a way to strengthen brotherhood among the Chinese community in South Sumatra. Various organizations and associations supported the event, such as PSMTI, KMBP, INTI, Teochew, Lucky Group, PITI, Zhang Zhou, Permabudhi, Guang Zhao, Koko Cici, Lions Club, and HAKKA. Their presence affirmed the importance of synergy in maintaining social and cultural traditions while encouraging active participation in humanitarian activities.

On this occasion, PT Saras Subur Abadi (SSA) participated by providing goodie bag support for all attending participants. This support is a form of appreciation as well as SSA's commitment to accompanying various social activities that have a positive impact on the wider community.

This blood donation event proceeded with a strong spirit of togetherness, creating a warm and meaningful atmosphere. Through this activity, it is hoped that more people will be inspired to continue caring for others and make blood donation a part of a healthy lifestyle and a concrete act of sharing life.
